Covid-19 Guidelines

At Moriarty Law, our top priority is the welfare of our people; As a business we are learning to live safely with coronavirus (covid-19) and reduce the risk of spread where possible.

The following Covid-19 guidelines apply to  employees, contractors, and visitors of the office location(s) (including tenants in shared areas); Strict adherence is required so that business can be conducted safely.

Maintaining a clean workplace

First and foremost, Moriarty Law will maintain a clean working environment.

Keeping workspaces clean reduces the risk of infection and therefore Moriarty Law supports all staff to regularly clean their personal workspace by ensuring cleaning products are freely available at all times.

In addition to essential cleaning products; Soap, hot water and hand sanitiser will be easily accessible throughout the toilets and breakout/kitchen areas.

Having fresh air circulating round the workplace can also help to lower the risk of airborne transmission of respiratory viruses, and therefore windows will be opened as and when possible.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements

Under the government guidance, it is no longer mandatory for individuals to wear a face mask or covering, and therefore use of a face mask or covering will be a personal choice for an individual in and around the workplace.

Members of staff or visitors at greater risk of serious illness from Covid-19

For any staff members or visitors who may be at greater risk of serious illness from Covid-19, they should discuss their concerns with their Line Manager or a member of the Senior Management Team.

Where possible, other arrangements such as working from home or other alternatives will be discussed and offered where this meets the requirements of both the individual and the workplace.

It is also recommended, to refer to current government guidelines for up-to-date guidance and NHS advice.

If at you at any time feel unwell and believe it to be the symptoms of a respiratory infection including Covid-19, you should contact your line manager as soon as possible and try to work from home if you can.
